At the end of 1956 the group called themselves The Saints and consisted of Tony Montalbano, Glenn Carlin, Johnny Smit, Ronnie Kemp and Julian Barnett.

They signed for the Jimmy Duncan, Cue Records label (Jimmy, Photo above, was a well-known songwriter, singer, composer , author, arranger and producer), The group recorded three singles on this label ...

-I Rocked When I Shoulda Rolled / Will You -1957.

-Turtle Dove / Take Me Back -1957.

-Honky Tonk Baby / Ain’t Cha Ever Comin ’Home -1958.

And finally Prescott records from Detroit released the Saint's sides...

-Doin The Stroll / Snap Dragon -1958.

They have a classic pop and Rock & Roll white sound from the mid-50s and with the appearance of the harmonic doo wop sound the group lost strength and very soon disappeared, but in 1962 Tony and Ron reappeared as THE GLENS recording  for All Boy records the sides " Good Golly Dolly / It's Too Late To Cry ".
