I receive an Email about if  THE STATLERS on Little Star Records in 1962 with the songs_Vicky/Gone. were...

...The american country music, gospel, and backing vocal group for Johnny Cash THE STATLER BROTHERS...

According to my information, The Statler Brothers were know first as The Kingsmen and in 1963 changed their name to The Statler Brothers.

And..

According to Mr. Ed Engel, The Statlers on Little Star Records are made up of Afro-American members with a white doo wop sound.

Therefore, the two groups are completely different and unrelated to each other.
