Artie Garr is the pseudonym of Art Garfunkel of Simon and Garfunkel fame.
In August 1959 he signed a contract with Warwick records where in October he would record the songs written by him "Beat Love / Dream Alone" present in Jeff Kreiter's guide.
In 1961 he recorded with this name for Octavia records the songs "Private World / Forgive Me " no present in the doo wop guides.
